Our 2017 Syrah from the Dalton Vineyard is a supple, fruit forward wine with seamless balance and good acidity leading to a long lingering fresh finish. It has great depth and richness with good oak integration. The aromatics include floral notes of lavender and gardenia as well as black licorice, honey, and Bing cherry. Flavors of Bing cherry, black licorice and lemon zest are most notable in this complex wine.
