The 2018 “Tandem” Napa Valley Cabernet from the McKenzie- Mueller Vineyard is a dense vibrant wine with fine grain tannins and a long persistent finish. The wine was aged in 70% New French oak and 30% once used French oak from our favorite coopers. Our Cabernets from McKenzie-Mueller vineyard age very well. Our older vintages are lovely right now.
The 2018 Tandem has aromas of lavender, cinnamon, bramble berry, plum and all spice. There are flavors of plum, currant, toasted coconut, cumquat with a lemon zest finish.
